Classroom:McDevitt holds a cumulative grade point average of 3.414. He will graduate in May, majoing in history while minoring in economics. He is a three-time ACC Academic Honor Roll selection.
Character:A leader by example, McDevitt has been instrumental in helping the development of the younger student-athletes on the men's lacrosse team
Competition:A three-year starter on defense for the Blue Devils, McDevitt earned Second Team All-America honors following his sophomore season in 2005. A preseason First Team All-America pick in 2007, he has started 38 games over his career (as of 4/24/07) while helping Duke to 34 wins over the past three years with two ACC regular season championships.
