Classroom:Levine is majoring in history with a minor in English and has a 2.45 cumulative grade point average. He is expected to graduate in May 2008.
Character:A team captain for the Great Danes. Head coach Scott Marr says "He is the ultimate leader by example. He is in the locker room talking to his teammates about doing things the right way. He has worked his way into this position. (His success) has not happened by accident."
Community:Has participated in community service projects with Adopt-A-Family for the Holidays, Habitat for Humanities and youth lacrosse clinics. Has worked with Shenendehowa High School lacrosse program. Is the co-founder of the All-Island Lacrosse Camp that works players ages 8-18 in an effort to demonstrate fair play and team unity while learning fundamentals. Has been an Ocean Beach Youth Group camp counselor and received the 2006 counselor of the year award.
Competition:Preseason All-America selection by Inside Lacrosse, was chosen to the Jewish Sports Review College All-America Team for the second consecutive year. In 2007 was named USILA second-team All-America midfielder and first-team All-America East Conference. Levine accounted for 23 goals and 16 assists while leading team a school-record 15-3 mark and the fourth NCAA appearance in the last five year. Was ranked seventh among the conference scoring leaders at 2.17 points per game. Scored three goals against Syracuse, Drexel and Siena, two goals and three assists vs. Loyola in NCAA first round and had a pair of goals against top-ranked Cornell in NCAA quarterfinals. He set the program's Division I single-season record with 91 ground balls and was named to America East all-championship team after picking up a career-best 11 GBs in the semifinal and final. Had five or more GBs vs. 12 teams and won 23 of 47 draws in the circle. In 2006 Levine was named first-team All-America East as a sophomore and ranked eighth nationally in ground balls at 5.87 per game. He was fourth on the team in scoring with 14 goals and 13 assists and won 15 of 38 face-offs. Had a career-high four goals vs. No. 7 Massachusetts, including the game-winner with 18 seconds remaining. Had a season-high 10 ground balls vs. Stony Brook on April 8, plus had one goal and two assists as well as three goals and two assists for a career-best five points vs. Binghamton on April 29. Had six or more ground balls against nine opponents.
