Classroom:Unterstein is a sociology major in Hofstra's College of LIberal Arts and Sciences. He would like to pursue a career in law enforcement after college.

Competition:Was named an Inside Lacrosse Face-off Yearbook Preseason All-American third team selection and Preseason All-Colonial Athletic Association selection by Face-Off Yearbook in 2008. Following the 2007 season, was named USILA All-American Honorable Mention and All-CAA second team. Played in all 14 games in 2007 and tallied one goal, at Sacred Heart. He led the team with 54 ground balls, including nine against Robert Morris, seven at Delaware and six against Massachusetts. Was ranked seventh in the CAA and 48th in the nation in ground ball average. He took 59 face-offs on the season, winning 30 (.508). He won 5 of 6 draws at Towson in the CAA Semifinals, 4 of 6 against Princeton and 3 of 4 at Hopkins.
